Good Morning Division 4!

Last term we started looking at energy. We will continue to look at different types of energy this term. I’ve posted two videos for your learning opportunity today. The first posted video talks about how potential and kinetic energy relate to flight. In the second video, John Collins, who is a record holder for flying paper airplanes, gives you five different planes you can try making. Have fun flying your planes!

It’s the long weekend coming up and the weather forecast is promising. Try to go outside and practice social distancing while you get some fresh air!

Today I will be sending you instructions on how to log into your student account on Typing.com.  This will be part of our Daily Language assignments routine.  

The email will be sent to both the students’ email account and to the parents.

Hello Division 4!

You may remember the Mystery Science video we watched on the last day of school before Spring Break. It was about germs.  I’m sure many of you recall the coughing scene. If you don’t remember or want a quick reminder, you can take a look again at How do germs get inside your body?   and then watch, What are some tips to fight germs?

Doug is presenting a 20-minute science show. He’ll answer real kids’ questions about the current situation we’re all dealing with, as well as share a few fun surprises. The video will be available for offline viewing mysteryscience.com/live after the event.
