Students started their book report today and will be presenting next week. While the book must be fiction, it can be a regular short chapter book or graphic novel.
Many students are interested in reading graphic novels. The ALSC (Association for Library Service to Children) has created a set of Graphic Novel Reading Lists intended for children from kindergarten through 8th grade. You can find the link here for 2013 novels.
