End of Term 2 Clean Up
Hello Parents, Guardians, and Adults of Division 3, Please ensure you read all the way to the bottom. I know it’s long but the message and information is important. 🙂 As we finish up Term 2 and get ready for Spring Break. I wanted to let you know my process for preparing for Term 3. All students need to bring a large (reusable) bag with them Friday March 12th to pack up all their things to take home over break. This is to ensure the room gets properly cleaned over break, cubbies wiped down, desks cleaned etc. We will be clearing out Term 2 work from their binders/duotangs and storing…

Celebrating Valentine’s Day
Dear Parents, Guardians, and other Division 3 Adults! While it might seem very far away still Valentine’s Day is almost among us! Valentine’s Day is one of my favourite holidays, entirely because it’s something bright and cheerful in the middle of a cold, dark winter! I would like to be able to celebrate with the kids this year. I feel we will all need a little extra joy come February 14th. Poppy Donations
Hello All! It is almost that time of year again. Remembrance Day is almost upon us. This year due to COVID-19 we are not accepting cash or coin donations for the poppies handed out at school on November 10th. Ms. Warren has created a school cash online donation section with donation amounts of $1, $2, and $5. You can also choose the amount you want to donate if it’s more or less than the options present. West Coast Recess
Hello Division 3 Parents and Guardians, This is a friendly reminder that due to increased sanitation we are having West Coast Recess and Lunch. This means our children go out in the rain. I have quite a few unhappy campers at the moment with wet feet, socks, shoes, coats, and sweaters. It might be a good idea to send your child to school with extra socks, waterproof shoes, extra jacket/sweater, extra pants etc.for the rest of the week due to the rain advisory we currently have in effect. Hello Division 3 Students and Parents, I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to post a welcome and hello to you! I’ve been dealing with some technical issues with joining Nelson. I am so excited to be working at Nelson. I’ve already grown so fond of all my wonderful students in such a short time. I know we are going to have a great year together.
