It’s great to see students taking up the Tall Tower Challenge at home! We are impressed to see all the different materials students are exploring to make towers. This is a great opportunity to use our creativity, practice problem solving, and use math language too!
We are excited to share our creations! Please click on each picture to read about our ideas:

"My tower is bigger than me! I use Megablocks! My tower is strong, it cannot fall down, because at the bottom it's very large. At the very top, my tower is pointy. In the middle, my tower is square." -Raphael

"I use cleaning up boxes. It's the same like my train set. The box of chocolates is short." -Gabriel

"My tower was actually made out of two yoga mats! I was kind of the same height as my tower. I could not tell if the tower was higher than me. If it would be, I could not understand if there was actually something on top of the yoga mat!" -Andrew

"My tower is shorter than me! I use books! I was building busy, I can build a tower by myself! I don't need people to help me." -Jalen

"When I did my tall tower, I did it with books! One box at the bottom, and then at the top I put a rainbow that I paint. My tower is big! It's bigger than me! And my mom helped me put all the books on top." -Juliana
If you are inspired by your classmates and want to do the Tall Tower Challenge too, just email me a photo and I will add it to our blog!
