On June 12th, the grade 7s visited the downtown Vancouver law courts to watch real trials in progress and observe the roles of justice system professionals: judges, lawyers, sheriffs, and court clerks. Participants may see witnesses and the accused in court.\u00a0 There may also be the possibility to see a jury trial.\u00a0 You got to meet a judge and a lawyer for 30 minutes each to ask about their role and experience in the justice system.<\/p>\n
