So&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>grade 6 =&nbsp;60 minutes a weeknight<\/p>\n<p>grade 7 =&nbsp;&nbsp;70 minutes a weeknight<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-294 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/smithjoanne\/files\/2017\/09\/Screen-Shot-2017-09-24-at-2.15.02-PM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1602\" height=\"498\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-350 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/smithjoanne\/files\/2017\/09\/images-5.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"198\" height=\"255\">Cooper and his colleagues analyzed dozens of homework studies conducted between 1987 and 2006 to examine whether homework is beneficial and what amount of homework is appropriate for our children. &nbsp;He found very little correlation between the amount of homework and achievement in elementary school and only a moderate correlation in middle school.
