In Division 1, we focus on developing the the life skills we will need to be successful in this 21st century world that requires its global citizens to think critically, act with sustainability, demonstrate social responsibility, and practice proficiency with technology. Our main goal is to acquire the essential skills that will allow us to become responsible, respectful, and compassionate individuals. We reach our individual learning goals through cooperation, respectful communication, as well as by being mindful of ourselves, others, and our environment. We adopt a growth mindset as we strive to overcome daily challenges and excel in our academics. Taking the words of W. Richadrson in Why School?<\/em>, we strive to “connect<\/strong> with others, and to collaborate<\/strong> and create<\/strong> with them on a global scale. It’s not so much ‘do your own work,’ so much as ‘do work with others, and make it work that matters.<\/strong><\/span>‘”<\/span><\/p>\n
