5 Little Horses and 5 Little Dinosaurs!!

5 Little Horses is a favourite fingerplay of mine

It rhymes and keeps your hands moving!

Below are the words to help you learn it.

You will find it in my November video below so do it along with me!!

5 Little Horses

5 little horses galloped into town (start with hands behind your back and bring them wiggling to the front)

5 were white and 5 were brown (raise one hand at a time showing 5 fingers)

They galloped up and they galloped down (wiggle fingers as you raise your hands up then down)

Then they galloped out of town (wiggle your fingers and put them behind your back)

Click your tongue!!!

Bring them back, NEIGH!!!! (bring your hands in front and make a neighing sound!)

One day while doing 5 little horses a child asked if we could do dinosaurs instead.

So we did and this is what we came up with!!!

5 Little Dinosaurs

5 little dinosaurs stomped into town (start with hands behind your back and bring them to the front with your fingers extended like dinosaur feet stomping)

5 were green and 5 were brown (raise one hand at a time showing 5 fingers)

They stomped up and they stomped down (raise your claw hands stomping up then down)

Then they stomped right out of town (stomp your claw hands and put them behind your back)

Thump thump thump thump thump thump thump

Bring them back, ROAR!!!! (bring your hands in front and roar!)
