Activity 2
Hello to all of my wonderful Grade 4/5 students! I miss seeing your lovely faces and making music with you!
Here is a video to say hello.
Just because you are at home does not mean that music ends. There are songs to sing, recorders to practice.
I was baking yesterday and I sang the whole time! Are you doing anything that includes singing? There are song ideas on the home page if you are looking for some!
Did you do the lesson in the Week One tab? These are all options for you as I know you have other things to do that your classroom teacher is assigning.
In the lesson from week one, Peace Like A River was played slowly and then faster. This weeks lesson focuses on that – the tempo, or speed of the music.
- Play this online game
- Here is a song to sing with a very tricky word to sing fast! Can you record yourself saying it fast? Who can say it fastest in your home? Do you remember watching this when you were in primary? I’d love to see or hear you saying it!
- Here is one I remember doing when I was in Grade 4
- Can you work at playing a recorder song faster and faster? Make sure it sounds ok so you do not make your parent sing the song from number 3!
Miss you! Stay well!
