Students have been involved with creating pop-up businesses!  We are getting close to our sale dates and teams are working very hard to earn a profit for their company. Each member of the team has a particular role for the company.

More information from Mr. Kelsey:

In support of the Career Education curriculum and with assistance from JA Canada (http://jacanada.org) Divisions 1 and 2 have been developing pop-up businesses to learn entrepreneurial skills.  Students have been responsible for coming up with ideas, developing items or services for sale, marketing and selling their products with the hopes of generating enough revenue to make a profit.  Each group has had to think through expenses, price points, sale location, marketing strategy and other considerations to make their pop-up businesses a reality.  From February 9 – February 15 students will be selling their products and services at school and if you are interested in their products and supporting their efforts they would be happy to serve you.  Profits generated will help fund a year end field trip opportunity.
