Math Art – Symmetry Masks
Guidelines
Use a letter size white sheet of paper.
Fold it in half (hamburger or hot dog style). Keep it folded.
From the folded edge, draw the shape of the mask. The shape must be ornate. Draw eyes, nose and mouth. Cut it out.
Draw lines symmetrically from key points on the mask.
Colour symmetrically.
Criteria:
- The overall shape is symmetrical and carefully cut out
- Drawn lines are symmetrical
- Arrangement of shapes and colour choice creates good overall effect
