{"id":2430,"date":"2020-04-01T10:33:24","date_gmt":"2020-04-01T17:33:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/fischerj\/?p=2430"},"modified":"2020-04-01T10:34:51","modified_gmt":"2020-04-01T17:34:51","slug":"play-dough-learning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/fischerj\/2020\/04\/01\/play-dough-learning\/","title":{"rendered":"Play Dough Learning"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Looking for something fun to do across&nbsp; the curriculum?&nbsp; Play dough is a great choice!&nbsp; Here is my never fail recipe:<\/span><\/h2>\n<h4>Math (Measurement) &amp; Science (Properties of Matter) coming up if you make it together&#8230;<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Combine dry (<strong>solids<\/strong>) ingredients in a medium pot:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>1 Cup flour<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 Cup salt<\/p>\n<p>2 tsp. cream of tartar<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;2. Combine wet (<strong>liquids<\/strong>) ingredients in a liquid measuring cup:<\/p>\n<p>1 Cup water<\/p>\n<p>2 Tbsp. vegetable oil<\/p>\n<p>Food colour of your choice<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;3. Combine liquids and solids in pot and stir until combined.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;4. Cook over medium low heat stirring constantly until it comes away from the sides of the pot (it will make a big ball&#8211;and look like play dough!)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 5.
