The children each had a container to examine snow inside the classroom. The idea is two fold. Firstly, to note a solid going to a liquid and to notice the difference in size. Secondly, to see what is in the snow and why one does not eat it.
The children used string that was 100 millimetres for measuring various items.
This is an art and math lesson combined. The students had to glue on black strips to the paper but had to make sure the strips went to the end of designs.
Using paint, the spaces had to be filled in. This was done in the style of Piet Mondrian.
