Hi there, Division 10!\u00a0 It was so great to see you all working so hard yesterday at our math sessions ! Today’s sessions will be in the morning instead of the afternoon. Please bring your completed math worksheet as we will be marking it together.\u00a0 Here are today’s activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1)\u00a0 Zoom Math:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Grade 2’s- 10 AM, Grade 3’s- 11 AM.\u00a0 Please bring your worksheet, paper, a pencil, eraser, and a marker.\u00a0 See you there!\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The activity sheet to be done AFTER<\/span> the math session is linked here for the grade two’s and three’s:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

25.3 Subtraction\u00a0 -Grade 2<\/a><\/p>\n

Introduction to Division 2<\/a>–Grade 3<\/strong><\/p>\n

These will be due on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2)Art-<\/span> *shhh…don’t tell Mom!! \ud83d\ude42 **\u00a0 It is Mother’s Day on Sunday ! Make Mom a nice card using what you have at home (construction paper, regular paper, markers etc.) and tell her why she is so special to you and what you are thankful for about her.\u00a0 You can use these sentence starters to help you:\u00a0 Dear Mom, thank you for______________<\/strong><\/p>\n

___________________________________________________\u00a0because __________________________________________.\u00a0 I really appreciate that you _________________________________________________because_______________________________________.\u00a0 Love, __________<\/strong><\/p>\n

**Include a nice and colourful picture as well of you and Mom doing something fun together:)<\/strong><\/p>\n

**Also! Help Mom out around the house this weekend with at least ONE<\/span> chore!\u00a0 (Unload the dishwasher, clean your room, help out with dinner etc.). Your Mom will really appreciate that \ud83d\ude42\u00a0\u00a0Don’t forget to give Mom her card on Sunday!!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

3) **OPTIONAL FOR TODAY<\/span>**: Friday Letter:<\/span>\u00a0 Grade 2’s: 2-3 pages, double spaced, Grade 3’s: 3-4 pages, double spaced. Make sure to start with “Dear Ms. Edwards” and finish with “Sincerely, ________” (your name). Ideas of what to talk about are attached below.\u00a0 This will be due on Monday.\u00a0 If you are getting frustrated, take a break and come back to it \ud83d\ude42\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
