This week we are busy recognizing Remembrance Day. Here is our wreath and a special poem.
It has been a few weeks since our exciting field trip, and here are some pictures of that day! We had so much fun traveling on transit, as well as learning about and observing the Fraser River. Thank you to all our volunteers who helped make the field trip go so smoothly!
We did some writing today about our favorite October activities. Ask us what we wrote about!
Today we had our first day of story workshop in the library with Ms. Macleod! We had so much fun exploring the materials and using our imaginations.
Today we started our water unit with Ms. Carley’s class. We read “We are Water Protectors” and then went on a nature walk!
This week at school we discussed our favorite kinds of apples, worked with our buddies for the first time and participated in the Terry Fox run!
Today we had our first day of gardening for the year. Mr. Pablo told us about the four elements and how the element for fall is water. Ask us about how we use water in the garden, at home, and at school!
We have just finished our first week as a class and it has been so much fun! Division 12 has been working on their quiet lining up and creating positive classroom relationships. We have also read 6 books together as a class so far! We made for art for dot day, and otters that show what good classmates should do. We finished off the week with making worry stones and crowns!
