Dear Singers:<\/p>\n

We will see you all for our next session on Monday, November 6, then we are off for Remembrance Day. (November 13)<\/p>\n

After this rehearsal,\u00a0 it’s only 2 more rehearsals until our concert!<\/p>\n

Some important bit of information you need to know:<\/p>\n

Monday, November 6 – Regular rehearsal at South Slope<\/p>\n

Monday, November 13 – NO Rehearsal (Remembrance Day observed)<\/p>\n

Monday, November 20 – Regular rehearsal at South Slope<\/p>\n

Monday, November 27 – Regular rehearsal at South Slope<\/p>\n

Extra Rehearsal – Tuesday, November 28 at Marlborough in the music room!<\/strong><\/p>\n

We will be rehearsing with Piccolini, the children’s choir on this day.\u00a0 Rehearsal will be from 3;30 to 4:45. Please attend if you can.<\/p>\n

Monday, December 4 – “A Holly Jolly Holiday” Concert at Michael J Fox Theatre at Burnaby South<\/p>\n

Singers need to be there sharply at 3:30.\u00a0 We will rehearse until 4:30 and then parents need to collect their children for a break, snack, rest, and to change into their outfits for the concert. (see below)<\/p>\n

Singers need to return to MJF by 6:15.<\/p>\n

Concert begins promptly at 6:30, and will be finished by 7:45.<\/p>\n

Please Note:<\/p>\n

  1. \u00a0At this time, there will be a limit of 2 tickets per family.\u00a0 You can pay by school online cash in the same place you paid your registration fees.\u00a0 Tickets are $10 each.\u00a0 We may have some extras at the door, but this is not guaranteed.<\/li>\n
  2. Students need to wear white collared shirts and black pants, or skirts with black shoes for the concert.\u00a0 I would suggest you begin looking now<\/strong> for your outfit.\u00a0 \u00a0It is also important that your hair be styled neatly and away from your face, or tied back, in order for the audience to see you!\u00a0 A touch of make-up (blush, lip gloss) is also a good idea, but not necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Vancouver Chamber Choir would like some feedback from the session with Dinah.\u00a0 I will be handing out forms next Monday, but you’re welcome to download the copy below and hand it in this Monday if you like.<\/p>\n
