Hello Singers!<\/p>\n
It’s that spooky time of year for music teachers!\u00a0 We are happily singing Halloween\/Fall songs, we’re practising solemn Remembrance Day songs, and looking at Christmas repertoire, all at the same time!\u00a0 Here are a few updates for tomorrow and the weeks to come.<\/p>\n
Silent Night with ASL signed English<\/strong><\/p>\n As our finale, we will be signing and singing Silent Night at our Holly Jolly Holiday Concert.<\/p>\n Click here<\/a> to practice the signs.<\/p>\n Vancouver Chamber Choir and the Great Pumpkin are coming October 30!<\/strong><\/p>\n For all good little boys and ghouls, we will be working with singers from the Vancouver Chamber Choir that rehearsal, specifically Christmas Angel.\u00a0 Our thanks to Ms. Fletcher for auditioning our soloists.\u00a0 We will reveal the soloists tomorrow.\u00a0 The Great Pumpkin will also be coming on October 30.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Our rehearsal tomorrow will focus on:<\/p>\n The chorus for Christmas Angel and a review of the underlying parts over our soloists in the verses.\u00a0 I do hope you have solidified this.<\/p>\n The Spanish for A la Media Noche.\u00a0 We will work on the pronunciation and the part singing.<\/p>\n We will finish The Snow Begins to Fall and expect this one to be put to bed this week.<\/p>\n Signing for Silent Night will be presented and then you will need to rehearse using the video above.<\/p>\n If time, we will learn more of Peace on Earth\/Little Drummer Boy.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This is just a reminder that any parts we go over in rehearsal are expected to be learned by the next rehearsal.\u00a0 It is the only way we can move forward and present new music to you.\u00a0 We want these songs to be memorized quickly so we can really sing from our hearts.\u00a0 Keep practising at home Corovoce!\u00a0 We will be amazing!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Stay tuned for more information around our Christmas Concert, “A Holly Jolly Holiday”<\/p>\n In song,<\/p>\n Caeden, Ms. Ishii, Mr. Nguyen, Kurtus and Mrs. Fierro<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" October 24, 2023 Hello Singers!
