If I&#8217;m not on my laptop deep-diving in online resources, scoping out plans for lessons, or answering emails, I&#8217;m on my phone comparing notes with other primary teachers across the continent, asking questions and looking for ideas and inspiration on how to make this learning accessible and interesting.<\/p>\n<p>My free time used to be when I got to watch TV but&#8230;somehow, looking at AN EVEN BIGGER screen just isn&#8217;t as appealing, so I&#8217;ve been doing a lot of reading lately! I&#8217;ve been exploring some interesting philosophy and sociocultural texts, and revisiting some old English Lit classics I haven&#8217;t read in many years. I just got a book on plants! I&#8217;ve never been a big gardener, but our current situation has given me a bit of a newfound appreciation for the pretty plants close to me.<\/p>\n<p>I hope you are taking a little bit of time to unplug, too. I think we are all feeling anxious and stressed, and I hope that this blog will be a supportive place of learning for those online-moments.
