Hi families, you will be receiving a link after school today to sign up online for Goal Setting Conferences next Tuesday & Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Please go to the class website and familiarize yourself with accessing it for class policies, calendar events, and homework assignments:\u00a0https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/chug\/<\/a>. (You can also find it on the Ecole Brantford website under \u201cStaff\u201d \u2013 the website shows up beside my name.)<\/p>\n

The time slots are scheduled at 15 minute intervals so please come ready to talk and share about your child and your thoughts for this year. Questions to consider:<\/p>\n

  1. What is your child like at home? Do they help out around the house?<\/li>\n
  2. What happens when your child doesn\u2019t listen to you \u2013 what do you do?<\/li>\n
  3. How much screen time does your child get?<\/li>\n
  4. What are after school\/weekend classes\/clubs they attend?<\/li>\n
  5. Do you implement a sleep\/wake schedule for them?<\/li>\n
  6. What is the routine for doing homework? Is there a specific place they work away from distractions?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    I will be sharing about the classroom setup and how I work with students over the year. We will also be discussing one or two goals I want to work on with your child over the next little while.<\/p>\n

    If you are not able to make any of the times next week, no worries! I am unable to book a specific time for families, but we can schedule another time that will work between 8am-4pm Monday-Friday.<\/p>\n
