Don&#8217;t forget &#8211; if you haven&#8217;t sent in your form regarding Tuesday&#8217;s in-house biking session for your child, please email me asap!<\/p>\n<p>Today, Math 4 started using the Math Makes Sense 4 textbook and tried to neatly write into our math booklets.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>NOTE: No textbooks will be sent home &#8211; please scroll down to the &#8220;Links&#8221; section on this page to find the online copy for your child to follow.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>If your gr. 4 child has math to complete this weekend, here are some things to note:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>make sure your child reads each question carefully, understanding what the question is asking for &#8211; their notebook has a graphic organizer that will explain standard form, expanded form, and base 10 blocks<\/li>\n<li>check that they are using the left pink margin line to separate question numbers vs numbers used in their solutions and finally,<\/li>\n<li>students don&#8217;t need to copy questions down in their book, I am looking for solutions which include computations and sentence answers<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Have a great weekend and see you next week!<script><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi families, it has been a short, but very full, week!
