We made it! We are at our last FULL week of June. Think back to when we had just finished Spring Break – it was a really unsettling time with changes happening daily in the world around us and now, we’ve settled into this remote learning or hybrid-school routine. Thank you families for all the additional support you put into helping your child manage the transition to remote learning.<\/p>\n

Please see the schedule for the coming week. Students are finishing up the Trevor Noah book and last week, there was a major change in the students in that many of them remembered to not just type, but to use their mics to share and listen to their group members. There have been a lot of really great conversations and thoughts coming out from the groups.<\/p>\n

Final week of daily response sheets are due Friday, June 19th 3pm as well as documentation & projects for all Genius Hour projects.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reminders:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Band surveys<\/strong> – please complete this by tomorrow if possible, so Mr. Wenzek can start planning for next year, which may include needing another teacher to co-teach<\/li>\n
  2. District band instruments<\/strong> – please return to Marian Learning Resource Centre <\/b>(near Armstrong) with documentation before Friday<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. ALL students<\/strong> – please return Brantford library books, “Battle of the books” book, Ms. Chu’s library books & her zippered book bags<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
