Hi families, Halloween weekend is finally here, kicking off with a school pumpkin patch graciously provided by Save-on Foods & hot chocolate by PAC. Following Halloween, our class is holding a “Drop that candy” campaign from Nov. 1-7 to collect candies from the school to pass on to charities for food hampers.
In your nightly Home Bag/planner check, you will have noticed that your child has a Socials test on Tuesday. In addition, Gr. 4s have a Math Unit 2 test.
We have been reviewing our government unit and your child has a review sheet along with their notes. Take some time this weekend to continue to review the information with them as this will be a first test for many students. Asking questions like multiple choice, fill in the blank, and short answers will help them prepare.
On Monday, we have the Halloween costume train and a class party. Are you bringing carved pumpkin to enter into our school contest? Don’t forget they have be in the gym by 8:30am.
