Can you workout and learn about the rainbow?
Special Activity
Can you follow along and try rainbow breathing? This is a good strategy to try if you need to be calm, alert, and ready to focus. It can help you get into the green zone.
Here is a link to a neat rainbow art activity. I know not everyone will have the materials needed so I will just attach the link for those who have the supplies and would like to try it out.
Make sure to set aside time each day for outside time and play time! Reading every day is very important too! I’ve included a rainbow scavenger hunt for families who would like to use it over the weekend.

You will need a plain piece of paper, pencil, and then something to colour with. Choose a spring picture to draw.
Can you draw a hummingbird?
Or a sunflower?
Special Activity
Trace the hand of each person you are social distancing with (i.e. everyone you live with) on a piece of paper. Write each person’s name on the thumb. Cut the hands out. Glue the hands onto a piece of paper biggest to smallest. Write the words “When the world stayed apart, this was my favourite place to be” and “Social Distancing 2020”. Keep it as a memory of this special time you spent with your family. See example below.
