Hello Everybody! Thank you so much for all your work and learning at home this week. I am so enjoying reading your written work about Rainbows and Spring Poems, hearing about how much fun you are having playing math games, and listening to you read aloud on Raz Kids. It was also so cool to see so many of you take advantage of the fun Science. I hope you enjoyed the two stories about Science all around us that I read too.
I hope all of our Division 11 moms have a wonderful Mother’s Day on Sunday!!!
Remember students – please think about and plan how you can show your mom that you appreciate her and make her feel loved on Sunday! There are ideas on how to make a card, sing a song or two, and also two optional writing frames in our blog hat you might like to fill out to tell her why she is special.
Zoom Meeting:
We had such a successful Zoom meeting last Monday. It was so wonderful to see one another virtually and to catch up with each other. We will see you all Monday at 11:00am again.
Here are some things to keep in mind during our video conference.
- Be kind and respectful.
- Be mindful of how you can be a good audience by saying Hello to your friends and listening to them when it is your friend to speak. Everyone will get to participate by raising their hand in turn to speak.
- Keep your sound on “mute” until it is your turn. This will help with the sound quality so we can all hear the speaker properly.
- Please consider your background and any information you will be displaying such as personal information or photographs.
- Please do not record or capture any part of the video conference.
- Please try to find a quiet space. Be aware of who will be captured in view of the web camera and what can be overheard on the microphone.
- This is a school activity and you should be dressed appropriately. In our class, I’m inviting you to dress up!
- This upcoming Monday, Blue Group Members will share, then the next week will be Yellow Group Members, followed by Green Group Members. Then we will start again with Red Group Members and so on.
