This month, we made winter trees. We practiced using chalk pastels to make a horizon, where the sky meets the ground. \u00a0It was tricky to keep the ground snowy white but they turned out beautifully!<\/p>\n

The students noted that:<\/p>\n

NM: We did the sky by chalk.<\/p>\n

LL: We made smiles, lots.<\/p>\n

KLY: Then we rub the smiles.<\/p>\n

WK: We rub so other holes not white.<\/p>\n

RM: It\u2019s to spread out the colours.<\/p>\n

AA: I was putting the snow with the brush, the back.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

HF: We used a sponge to make the snow white, white.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

CC: We used white paint.<\/p>\n

SL: There snow on the top.<\/p>\n

LL: We used crayon and made the tree, the tree had to touch the snow and the sky.<\/p>\n

RM: We made a naked tree because there\u2019s not enough food.<\/p>\n

ME: No leaves, the leaves fall down so they can be the ground\u2019s blanket and \u2018cause there\u2019s not enough food because it\u2019s Winter.<\/p>\n

HF: Trees get food from sun, there only a little bit of sun in Winter.<\/p>\n

NT: The tree is sleeping! We finished it in 3 days and that\u2019s ok, it has to be dry or if we do everything at the same time it\u2019ll melt.<\/p>\n
