Hello friends!<\/p>\n

The next time you go for a walk look closely for a stick on the ground. I chose a stick that had a long line and then two smaller lines that made a triangle shape that I thought looked like legs.<\/p>\n

Look for a smaller stick that you could use for arms.<\/p>\n

See?<\/p>\n

Have an adult help you with this part! I used a figure 8 type loop to join the two sticks together with twine and then made a knot.<\/p>\n

Now it is time to dress your stick friends! I used embroidery floss I purchased at Dollarama and wrapped my stick person with different colours. You can use wool, string, pieces of fabric….really whatever you have laying around your house!<\/p>\n

You might need a little glue to help stick on the clothing! I used some crazy glue but a hot glue gun would work as well!<\/p>\n

I added a flower bud, a pine leaf and some moss for the hair.<\/p>\n

I then added the eyes! You can use googly eyes, stickers or just colour them in!<\/p>\n

Mr Stick Man rode the Fiddlehead ferns… hold on tight Mr Stick Man!!<\/p>\n

Don’t the ferns look like a seahorse?<\/p>\n

He waded in the creek….<\/p>\n

He swang on the pinecones in the cool breeze…<\/p>\n

Mr Stick Man carefully crossed a large log… one step in front of the other.<\/p>\n

It was so high up….He was so brave!<\/p>\n

On the other side of the creek he meet a few friends playing amongst the painted rocks and leaves.<\/p>\n

They were very careful to keep a safe distance from each other. Aren’t my friends FANTASTIC!<\/p>\n

Mr Stick Man and his friends played a game of hide and seek. Can you see me?<\/p>\n

They gave each other air hugs to keep their bodies safe. It was really hard not to give real hugs.<\/p>\n

I think Mr Stick Man loves hugs just as much as Ms Gael does!<\/p>\n
