Learning at home for the week of April 27 – May 1
Special announcements: Nil is “Star of the Week”. Look for his “Star of the Week” email a little bit later.
Zoom Meeting Schedule: Please look for a separate email with the zoom meeting schedule for this week. Please note that your child will have two meetings this week: one Language Arts based lesson with Ms. C. AND a math lesson with Ms. Mah. The zoom links will be sent in emails separately.
Bridge Building Kit: In an email that Ms. Aujla sent out on Friday, she included a link for you to request a “bridge building kit” that John Carinha (PAC Chair) is going to organize and hand out on Friday, May 8 in our school parking lot. If you are interested, please make sure you click on the link in that email to request a kit. It’s sure to be a cool project! I requested a kit for myself so I can build a bridge too!
Here are some activity suggestions to try this week. Families can choose how to best fit these into your week. Do one or do some!

WELLNESS
|
As we learn about different ways to breathe in order to calm our bodies, I would like to introduce LAZY 8 BREATHING. Place your finger on the star and trace the figure 8 while you follow the breathing instructions. Even when you do not have a figure 8 in front of you, you can visualize the 8 in your mind.
