I hope this note finds you feeling well and staying healthy in these unique times.      I miss your smiling faces and being able to make music with you in the classroom.    I look very forward to the day when we can do that again, in person! However, for now, there are LOTS of fun ways that you can explore music making at home,             if and when you feel ready to do so.  Take GREAT CARE of yourselves and know that we are all in this together!  Wishing you much joy, love and peace.

I am so excited to have published this first post for you and your child to read!  I am sharing a link to my first video that I have created at home.  I am also posting a link to a great website called Musicplay that can be explored on a laptop, a smartphone or a tablet, if you feel that you would like more musical activities for your child to participate in.  Of course, listening, singing, moving and dancing to ANY songs that you have access to at home are also EXCELLENT ways to enjoy the benefits of music.  In the coming weeks, I will be adding posts with new songs and lessons.

Enjoy and remember, “…(i)f you cannot teach me to fly, teach me to sing.”                                                                         ~   J.M.Barrie, author of Peter Pan

Please click on Action Songs  (or on the arrow below) to watch my first video that students can sing along to and move around with.  All of my students should be familiar with these songs and most will know them very well!  Have fun!!!
