Our class truly loved seeing the general store (as a comparison to our “corner store”) and how the bank and cash registers looked back then.

We had a very interesting conversation about the 1922 classroom features. You would be surprised to hear how many students would like to sit in rows, but would skip the inkwells!

We ended our trip with a spin on the zippy carousel; a first for a few students.

What a fun day out together… we wish we had more time to explore, discuss, and to also see some of the exhibits that were closed. A neat place to visit again with your family!

A BIG thank you to Lily’s parents who joined us on the trip to help supervise.

A few more trips together before the end of the year… and we can’t wait!

It was a beautiful day for an adventure to the Burnaby Village Museum.
