Hello families of Division 9!
This will be my last regular post for this year on our class blog, as I have set up FreshGrade accounts for each student. I have learned that this platform will allow me to share more personalized information on student learning. Please see the invitations sent to your emails to join your child’s account.

We began our animal research this week, after each student selected their special animal. We have a variety of mammals, one reptile, one bird, and one invertebrate represented in this “ecosystem” and I am impressed with the enthusiasm and hard work of this class, yet again!
On Tuesday, Brantford streamed our Remembrance Day assembly through Zoom for classes and families to watch. Division 9 did a beautiful job of their song.
We had a special presentation from Earth Rangers this morning, who taught all the primary classes about at-risk animals and what we can do to help protect them. Ask your child about some of the facts we learned!
I hope you all have a lovely and restful weekend!
