How to Complete Assignments in Microsoft Teams

  1. To submit assignments in Teams (a little clearer than Blogfolios, I’ve learned), first, go to https://portal.office.com/, or the Teams App if you have it.  Sign into your account.
  2. Click on Teams
  3. Click on our class’s team, “O365-Glenwood-Division2”
  4. Once in Teams, look to the left side of the screen to find Assignments
  5. Check under “Assignments” for work to complete
  6. Click on the assignment you want to complete

7. If it is an assignment that you need to complete on paper (instead of in an online document), make sure you take a photo and upload it to your computer first. Then, click on “Add work” in the assignment.

8. Choose an option based on where you saved your photo.

9. Find your photo, then click “Open.”

10. If you are not uploading a picture, you may have the option to type directly into a document that Ms. Anderson posted to the assignment. If this is the case, hover over the ellipses on the document (…), and select “Open in Teams.”

11. You can type into the document by clicking “Edit Document and selecting “Edit in browser” to type directly into the Word document.

12. When you are finished, click “Turn in” to submit your assignment!

Teams allows teachers to set grading, rubrics, and provide feedback more directly for each student’s assignment. It will help you keep track of which assignments you have completed too

    • Hi Diana,
I do not have all the assignments from this week set up in Teams, but starting next week I will be posting the required assignments there. They will show up on student accounts as assignments to complete. Students can type directly into the documents I will be posting, or they can upload photos of their work. I do not know if students can upload work aside from assignments I have posted. So, as of next week, it will be easier for students to submit assignments through Teams. For today, please continue to use the blogfolio or email me your work.
Thank you for your understanding and patience as I learn more about the blog and Teams platforms.

      • Please see the recent post “Important Updates for Next Week” for a little more information on this.
